Fancy Empire Deck

This is a high end top deck of an Empire chest. Dovetail joints were incorporated in its sturdy construction. I never had the chest and this deck doesn’t have its original drawers, but it has so much going for it in terms of its appearance and use of highly figured tiger maple and flame birch woods.

It measures 51 ½ inches wide by 12 ½ inches deep.
